We are a community of Christians seeking to follow Jesus Christ according to the teachings of the Bible. Our desire is to worship God sincerely, grow in faith together, and share the love and hope of Christ with the people of Southend-on-Sea and beyond.

Whether you are exploring Christianity, looking for a church home, or simply visiting, you are warmly welcome.

 Church of Christ Southend-on-Sea is part of the New Testament tradition of churches that aim to follow the example of the early church found in the Bible.

We believe:

• Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Saviour of the world 
• The Bible is God’s inspired Word 
• The church exists to worship God, teach the Gospel, and serve others in love 

Our focus is on simple New Testament Christianity, Christian unity, spiritual growth, and caring for one another as a family of believers.

 To glorify God by following Jesus Christ, teaching His Word, building loving relationships, and serving our community. 

 We are made up of people from different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life, united by faith in Jesus Christ.

You do not need to have everything figured out before visiting. Whether you are new to faith or have followed Christ for many years, there is a place for you here.

 As a church family, we gather regularly for:

• Worship and prayer 
• Bible teaching and study 
• Fellowship and encouragement 
• Community outreach and service 

We also support children, young people, families, and individuals in their spiritual journey.
